'Is It Like Having an Orgasm?': Bill Simmons Was in His Bag Talking About Players Dropping the Ball Before Crossing the Goal Line

Sunday was a banner day for players dropping the football before crossing the goal line, something which has somehow become an epidemic in this country. Jonathan Taylor and Jordan Battle both cost their teams six points this weekend within hours of each other, which obviously became one of the main stories coming out of the weekend.

I, for one, don't understand why someone would be inches away from doing something every kid dreams of and want to rid their hands of the football as soon as possible, but one of the great American philosophers of our time offered the best explanation I've heard from anyone thus far.

He's still got it, folks.

I guess Bill's comparison actually isn't terrible and I see what he's saying, it's just so perfectly him. There is nobody else on the internet who could say that. And this gem comes right on the heels of Simmons comparing LeBron's 22nd season in the NBA to his own recent pick-up game. It seems he might be going on an all-time run right now.
